"Women leaders are unique in a number of ways. Facing challenges that differ significantly from their male counterparts, women in industry typically juggle an active family life with a busy business schedule. The women in the following pages put the “class” in the 2023 Class of Women to Watch. They are tenacious and powerful women who are leaders in their chosen fields.
"Serving as mentors to the next generation of those in Nevada’s business community, the Women to Watch are real-world examples of how to get business done." More here.

If you miss Marin Alsop on the podium at Orchestra Hall this weekend — well, first of all, don’t.
Though she and orchestra representatives won’t confirm one way or the other, Alsop, who made history as the first woman to become music director of a major American orchestra when she assumed leadership of the Baltimore Symphony in 2007, is widely assumed to be among the front-runners for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s music director post once Riccardo Muti concludes his contract extension in 2023.
The Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship is pleased to announce its 2022-24 Fellow Anna Duczmal-Mróz along with two Associate Fellows Irene Delgado-Jimenez and Marie Rosenmir and three award recipients Kalena Bovell, Julia Cruz, and Anna Sułkowska-Migoń.
New collaboration with AT&T's “She's Connected” program also announced, empowering women with mentorship opportunities. As part of the collaboration, Alsop and a TACF-mentored conductor will be featured in the She's Connected campaign shared across digital and social platforms.
