Sarah Johnson, Director of the Weill Music Institute, Carnegie Hall and the social impact of classical music

Sarah Johnson presented the impact and research taking place at the Weill Music Center at Carnegie Hall, including the initiatives NeOn Arts, a free program of the Neighborhood Opportunity Network that is open to the entire city and offers young people in seven New York City communities the chance to explore the arts; Musical Connections in which men at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility create and perform music with visiting artists and current research.
